T.E.E.M Work Clubs

T.E.E.M is the Employment Support Team’s project dedicated to helping council tenants to find work. We run free Work Clubs all over the city for people to drop in and get support with things like:

CV writing and updatingInterview Preparation
Developing SkillsFinding training
VolunteeringStarting a business

Our Work Clubs are free to attend and there’s no need to book. Find out more about each of our Work Clubs below

Bitterne Work Club

Every Monday 10am-12pm

Bitterne Library, Bitterne Rd East, SO18 5EG

Find us in the meeting room on the right-hand side at the back of the library.

Weston Work Club

Every Monday 1pm-3pm

Weston Community Library, 68 Weston Lane, SO19 9HG

Find us on the right-hand side as you enter YMCA Weston Community Library.

Northam Work Club

Every Wednesday 10am-12pm

Northam Community Centre, Kent Street, SO14 5SP

Find us in the Youth Wing of Northam Community Centre, next door to the SureStart Centre.

Shirley Work Club

Every Thursday 10am-12pm (starting 19th May 2022)

Shirley Baptist Church, Church Street, Southampton, SO15 5LG

Central Work Club

Every Thursday 3pm-5pm

Learning Centre, 1st Floor, Central Library, SO14 7LW

Find us on the first floor of Central Library in the Learning Centre.

All our work clubs are now fully reopened and accepting drop ins. Face coverings are no longer mandatory but we still advise social distancing, sanitising and other precautions to keep you and our team safe. Please do not attend a work club if you have any symptoms of COVID-19.

You do NOT require evidence of vaccination to attend our work clubs
