SETA stands for the Southampton Engineering Training Association.

Their Training Centre in Millbrook, Southampton, was opened by Earl Mountbatten of Burma in 1969 and they have been training apprentices ever since.

Today, they have over four hundred apprentices on their courses. They have also expanded operations to include adult training, now offering all sorts of training courses for adults, including ECITB Safety Passports, Health & Safety Courses,  Electrical City and Guilds courses, as well as NVQs for adults in the workplace.

SETA remain committed to quality engineering training for young people and have built links with local schools to try to encourage young people into the industry.
