We are really pleased to announce that our T.E.E.M Work Club is returning to Central Library on Thursdays, 3pm-5pm, from Thursday 20th May 2021.
Following the government’s confirmation that lockdown restrictions will continue to ease from 17th May, we are re-opening our Work Club in Central Library for residents who are looking for work but cannot engage with our virtual support. At this time, we are unable to accept drop ins, and attendance at Central Work Club is by appointment only. To book a 30 minute slot, clients can visit our Work Club booking page on Access Southampton and complete the form. If clients cannot use the online form, they can call 07811 165129 or email us to book a time slot. Time slots will be issued on a first come, first served basis, and we ask that clients don’t block book ahead their time slots.
How to find us:
Central Work Club is located in the Learning Centre on the first floor of Southampton Central Library, Civic Centre, SO14 7LW.
This video will also show you exactly how to get to us:
We have taken precautions to ensure that Central Work Club remains COVID secure. All computer desks are fitted with Perspex screens and hand sanitiser is provided at all desks, as well as at two sanitising stations in the Work Club. Work Club attendees and Employment Officers will be expected to wear masks (unless they are exempt), observe social distancing and will be supported to “check in” with the NHS Track and Trace app.
If you are not comfortable attending an in-person Work Club, an Employment Officer will also be at our Virtual Work Club on Thursdays 3pm-5pm to offer virtual support. To join the virtual work club, all you need to do is click this link: bit.ly/VirtualWorkClub and enter the passcode: 356055
Remember, T.E.E.M is also able to support council tenants to find work on a 1:1 basis – full details can be found on Access Southampton: http://access-southampton.co.uk/help-finding-work/
All other T.E.E.M Work Clubs remain closed, and we will make further announcements as each Work Club re-opens.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. Thank you for your support as we take these first steps towards resuming our face to face services.
